On April 7th The Africa/Middle East Regional Microcredit Summit will be held in Nairobi, Kenya. Drumming An End To Poverty will celebrate that conference and its goals of sustainable development and achievement of the UN's Millennia Goals.

Drumming An End To Poverty will conduct simultaneous Drum Circles in Nairobi and Washington DC and connect them over the internet.

We plan to raise a 5 Million USD fund to build Small & Growing Businesses and create JOBS and to do this thorugh public appeal during the Drum Circle Telethon. Each year 8 million hearts stop beating because the people simply cannot afford to stay alive! We will play one hour to memorialize one million of these needless deaths
