Under the title of Business Impact for Good (BIG), the 2012 Event Series aims to advance understanding and deepen engagement around the core issue of how to scale and measure the impact of business on development outcomes.

Track One of the BIG 2012 Series focuses on how to enhance business impact. It explores both how companies can scale the impact they have through their core value chains (such as by involving small businesses as distributors), and on how they can have a "systemic impact" by engaging on public policy issues (such as trade).
Track Two of the BIG 2012 Series focuses on how to measure business impact. It looks at the latest advances in how to measure the social, economic and environmental footprint of business, as well as the emerging evidence of the contribution that business can make to development.
The BIG Series includes an integrated programme of public events (in London, Addis and New York) and, in partnership with the Business Call to Action, a series of webinars. Event audio, resources and, in partnership with the International Business Leaders Forum, a series of interviews with key speakers from the Series will be published here on Business Fights Poverty.
The BIG Series is hosted by Business Action for Africa and Business Fights Poverty.
