Why: There is growing momentum behind inclusive business models, which expand access to goods, services and jobs amongst low income communities through company value chains. One of the major barriers to inclusive business development is lack of finance. Join us to share insights about the challenges and solutions of financing business investments that support Africa’s development.

Why: There is an increasing shift towards an alternative perspective on Africa that portrays it as a continent on the rise – economically, politically and socially.   The “New Africa” is one of new opportunities for business.  At the same time, business is creating new opportunities to accelerate broad-based growth across the continent. Join us to share insights about the new opportunities for business and Africa.  The event will mark and discuss the launch of a new report by Business Action for Africa and Ernst & Young on “The New Africa”.   Why: Oxfam America, The Coca-Cola Company and SABMiller have just released an in-depth study about the economic and social impact of The Coca-Cola Company and SABMiller value chain on communities in el salvador and Zambia. Join senior speakers from the three partners to discuss the Report's findings.
