- I am freelance Sustainable Sourcing consultant that specialises in developing strategies for business to build in more sustainable practices. I am particularly passionate about Africa where I have worked on projects for many years.
I work within the retail industry and I'm incredibly passionate about poverty alleviation. I believe that retail businesses are in a very powerful position to enable a platform that connects businesses in the developing world with those in developed worlds and therefore helping to eradicate poverty.
I have spend the last 5 years at TOPSHOP as a Buyer. During that time I also implemented their Empowerment programme - collaborating with small co-operatives especially within Africa. Whilst developing ethical initiatives I spent many years developing Fairtrade cotton supply chains throughout the brand - working and visiting farmers in Mali, Senegal, Cameroon and Burkina Faso
I am now a freelance consultant specialising in Sustainable supply chains working with small to large businesses - I am keen to further develop links between Africa and businesses across the world - I am a firm believer in the power of partnerships
