Ellen,
Thank you for your post -it's a timely reminder of how much more can be done to reduce poverty through partnerships between global and local private sector businesses, policy makers and experts/consultants (local and international).
My own interest/work is in capacity building in local supply chains and the potential to maximise social and economic benefit from inward investments, especially in developing countries, primarily in Africa and the Caribbean.
Jurgen, thank you also for sharing the link to UNDP's new Africa Regional Project.
