Website:

About my work:
I am a Social Development / Gender Consultant and have worked for over 15 years for bi- and multi-lateral donors and NGOs in Asia and Africa. I am presently committed to revising donor-driven gender policies so they are more relevant to host countries. To this end I am involved in a number of activities (as well as straight forward gender consulting) such as writing papers for think tanks and universities on the subject and acquiring a colunn to write about Gender Issues for SciDev.Net. I am very interested in finding ways to collaborate with the private sector in relation to improving the lives of women in the developing world.
Topics on my radar:
Education, Enterprise Development, Governance and Transparency, Health, Inclusive Business Models, Measuring Impact, Partnerships, Women and Business
