The Social Keiretsu - A Model for Sustainable Colabaration

Background

When the Japanese trade ministry (MITI) decided to move into the US markets, they invented a unique commercial vehicle to do so. It is called the “Keiretsu.” This is a group of companies cooperating within a formal framework to achieve a single market goal. The original “Keiretsu,” still exist today after 40 years of successful operations.

Hi Jerry, I went to the Microventures Website. Interesting information. We've been involved in West Africa for about 15 years. The last 8 have been focused on economic development. We haven't seen a lot of success from governmental approaches at all. Our efforts are to use private capitalization, intensive mentoring, and existing resources to create industry. Is the WASE Initiative on your site something that you are personally engaged with? I'd love to talk. We're working in Senegal, and Guinea-Bissau. If you want to check out our work online let me know.

Regards
Mike

Hi Jerry

I have studied your internet site Microventuresupport. Actually you are doing a very similar thing as we intend to do with our new "Social Venture Capital" company.

May I ask you, how your organisation is financed, because from my experience this is one of the key questions for success. We are planning to found a swiss shareholder company in order to give as many people as possible to buy shares and by doing this, help us to get as much financial resources as possible.

Are you interested in a cooperation? I think if we join forces this could help both of us to have a greater impact!

I do hope to hear from you soon!

Best regards,

Christian

we have to date setup 3 startups in Kenya, these companies are informed by Bill Gates of creative capitalism that is more inclusive.

We are currently in the process of launch a mobile application that i think will make lives of people from all works of life slightly easier.
