About my work:
I am the Deputy Director for Global Youth Integrated Network, a local Zambian non profit organization aimed at reintegrating street children and youth by facilitating the establishment of micro enterprises.

Global Youth Integrated Network is a registered local Non profit organization that has been in operation since August 2007 and became a legal entity on August the 17th 2009 with a certificate of incorporation as a company limited by guarantee. The organization was issued with certificate number No. 79969

Global Youth Integrated Network carries out its business at the following physical address:

Mission Statement:
To improve livelihoods of the vulnerable by empowering and reintegrating youth from the street back into communities and prevent streetism by job creation for both skilled and unskilled youths including economic empowerment of the vulnerable households in the communities through networking with all stakeholders to provide vocational and life skills development, economic empowerment and promoting community parenting.

Vision:
Streets free of vulnerable children by the year 2030

The Overall Goal of the Organization:
To provide social services and economic empowerment opportunities for the vulnerable with specific focus on street children and youth as well as the vulnerable households

Targets Group:
 Male and female Street and youth trained under Zambia National
Service vocational skills program
 Unemployed community youth who are equipped with vocational skills
 Street children
 Children living in drop in centres earmarked for reintegration
 Vulnerable households where the current street kids are coming from
 Other vulnerable households

Strategy: GYINet has developed a comprehensive model which guides the Reintegrating of street
children and youth back into the communities and also addresses vulnerable household
economic empowerment as a preventive measure.
