Hello Natalia. Am sorry for taking long to respond on this thread. I was a way from the internet.
Anyway, my idea is about a project about ICT in the rural villages specifically around our village where i come from. My aim is to promote and spread to the rural and semi Urban community and also to provide e-services. Access to and use of ICT by the rural residents is still a mirage in my community and computer illiteracy is also high among the vast age groups of the community. I have been interested in bringing these services close to them.
I have read about your work at BcTa website and i feel we have a common objective. Even though my project may seem small but i stand to corrected. I will be happy if idea sounds good and can be implemented. i have already worked on a sound Business plan but It has not been implemented yet.
Please advice.
thanks in advance.

Hello Natalia:

As a member of Business Fights Poverty, my associates and I have launched "VOICES OF WOMEN WORLDWIDE" & VOWW-TV http://voicesofwomenworldwide-vowwtv.ning.com/
in celebration of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSRW) in Feb/Mar 2011 and the creation of UN WOMEN on 24 February with the Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon announcing the appointment of the former President of Chile Ms Michelle Bachelet as Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director. Watch the historical event on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2w-qO92bBs

Everyone started asking "Who is Michelle Bachelet ?" and Googled search engines and watched listening to her speeches on YouTube : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HJKNOuqfo8&feature=related

Finally, the following week there was the celebration to mark the100th anniversary of International Women's Day - 8 March 2011 - exclusively commemorated annually worldwide - where all those ordinary women played extraordinary roles in the history of their rural and urban communities. Listen to IWD Message from UN Women Under-Secretary-General Michelle Bachelet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f695g8XNHcI

At this stage, we are inviting women around the world to assist in bringing voices for voiceless women worldwide ... sharing information and ideas via print, photos, digital/HD video to help make the world a more peaceful place ...
