Dear Michael,
thank you so very much for your valuable discussion about women's issues.
I'd be very interested indeed to know more about your wonderful work in Uganda.
We have several women from Uganda in our online women's community so I will be very happy to also copy your message in our Uganda group there.
One of my co-Directors is also from Uganda and it looks like Uganda will become our first WFAC chapter. I may well be coming out there at the end of the summer with my husband to do some filming too, so I'm delighted to have made contact with you.
Our Ugandan friends are from the North East of Uganda i believe, in a very poverty-stricken area. However, they were fortunate enough to get a grant from a UK charity to go to university, and now they are putting thier skills towards helping other women in the region - in between also working full time!
It's a pleasure to know you, and always so inspiring to hear from supportive men... I know there are lots of men who are very supportive of women's issues, but sometimes to women it doesn't seem that way, so the women in our community are always so inpsired to hear of people such as yourself.
Very many thanks again to you.
And don't worry that you didn't participate in the discussion till now. It will still be there for quite sometime yet, as we are keen to get ongoing feedback.
With warmest wishes to you and blessings for your good work,
Chris
