Full Session Description 

How do we teach student with so much pain in their life, either from family, poverty of abusive system? This information packed webinar uses three cases and compares the research, methods and in the streets cases of successful transform hurt students in: Africa, Urban US and US Homeless community.

Join us to explore how Internet collaboration is transforming core values against poverty in Africa with the UNESCO Power of Peace network sponsored “I am Africa. This is my story…” workshops and Internet portal. This campaign leverages Internet collaboration and digital storytelling to defeated core values of isolation the poverty in suppressed African youth. It also shows how this new generation of youth views collaborative cell knowledge. From flash protests to flash knowledge this is a new generation.

The second case will be on the social academic pressure of black American youth and how highly motivated faculty using the STEM curriculum achieve success. In addition the techniques of Adult Learning Centers in urban settings.

Third will be a trip will be inside the “Discover your Gifts” curriculum of the Bridgeport Rescue Mission Women’s Learning Center. This will demonstrate the integration of UNESCO/WHO Life skills with Web 2.0 learning methods and small group dynamics. We will us a step by step method to go through a deeply human lesson in a small group using a Web 2.0 library portal. This will provide you with a Framework to use in any class setting.
